My live, online classes are held on ZOOM and will not be recorded. The fee for online classes is $10 per class (contact Denise if finances are an issue). Every 5th class FREE! Payments can be made on Venmo, click HERE, to pay with Paypal, click HERE, or mail your check to Denise Wendler, P.O. Box 231, Capitola CA 95010.

Please find a spot where you have a strong wi-fi signal, minimal background noise and space for your yoga mat. Please log on 5-10 minutes before the start time, as you would arrive early for class. Place your screen and mat so you can best see me and I can see you. If your internet connection slows down during class, try turning off your video camera so you can still see the class, but I can’t see you. "Speaker" view allows you to see me, while "Gallery" or "Grid" view will show other students in the class. After class concludes, you will have the opportunity to ask questions, chat with the other students, etc. This is the value of being in an online class that is LIVE!

Please have your props close by:

- Yoga mat
- 2 or 3 blankets and/or large beach towels   
- 1 or 2 yoga blocks (or a few thick books or throw pillows)

- Yoga strap (or a scarf, a robe belt, necktie, or long towel)
- Eye pillow or hand towel to place over your eyes during Savasana

FAQ

Can you help me with technical issues?

Generally speaking, no. I encourage you to play with your free Zoom account so you get used to the format. I won't be able to stop class to help you if you are having trouble - if you aren't able to attend or participate, I won't charge you for class. 

 

What if I have a question during class?

Feel free to unmute your microphone and ask your question. There will be a microphone icon on your screen. 

 

Can other people see me?

Yes, if you have your camera on. But you can turn your camera off using the video icon at the bottom of your screen if you would prefer that no one (including the teacher) can see you. 

 

Are you going to put this up on YouTube or anywhere else?

No, I won't record the classes I am doing live with students.
