CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
- All Levels Yoga - all are welcome
- Chair Yoga - for anyone who prefers to practice without going to the floor
- Gentle Yoga - for students who need to move at a slower pace
- Intermediate Studies - for continuing students with at least 1 year Yoga experience who want to study all 8 limbs of Yoga
- Level 2 Yoga - for continuing students with at least 1 year experience in basic Iyengar Yoga poses, who have a regular home practice and are ready to work on Sarvangasana (shoulderstand)
- Pranayama & Philosophy - for students drawn to the inner yoga practices
- Restorative Yoga - a deeply relaxing practice using props from around your house
- Rotating topic series - for continuing students interested in a focused, more intense practice
- Yoga for 50+ - for anyone who prefers a class focused on the needs of students over 50
ON-LINE INFO:
Please have the following props close by:
- Yoga mat
- 2 or 3 blankets and/or large beach towels
- 1 or 2 yoga blocks (or a few thick books or throw pillows)
- Yoga strap (or a scarf, a robe belt or long towel)
- Eye pillow or hand towel to place over your eyes during Savasana
(Check out Yoga Mart if you would like to order props.)
Find a spot where you have a strong wi-fi signal, minimal background noise and space for your yoga mat. Log on 5-10 minutes before the start time. Place your screen and mat where you can best see me and I can see you. If your internet connection slows down during class, try turning off your video camera so you can still see the class, but I can’t see you.
"Speaker" view allows you to see me, while "Gallery" or "Grid" view will show other students in the class. After class concludes, you will have the opportunity to ask questions, chat with the other students, etc. This is the value of being in an online class that is LIVE!
